Privacy Policy — Grow Cook Yum (English)

Effective 5 November 2026 · Last updated 5 November 2026

In one sentence: this policy covers the Grow Cook Yum (ปลูก ปรุง หม่ำ) app; the app collects, sends and shares no personal data about the child or the parent, and the garden and play progress stay on your device.

Who we are

The controller is KrapowKaidao Studio, an independent studio in Bangkok, Thailand. Contact: support@krapowkaidao.com.

What stays on your device

What your child has planted, picked and cooked, which garden day they have reached, the garden diary, and the parent settings (play time each day, voice language, the chosen character, and the dishes a parent ticked as “we tried it at home”). This lives in the app’s own storage on that iPad or iPhone only and never reaches us. If you back up your device, it is included in your own backup, which Apple manages and we cannot access. Deleting the app deletes it.

What we don’t do

No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no third-party code in the app, no tracking (the iOS tracking prompt never appears). Every part of the game works offline; the app sends no play data anywhere. Only buying needs the internet, and that goes through Apple.

Permissions

None. No microphone, camera, photos, location, contacts or notifications.

Purchases

The unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store and always sits behind a question for grown-ups. We never see payment details or your Apple ID; the app only learns whether it is unlocked. With Ask to Buy, the purchase waits for a parent’s approval.

When the app crashes

If Share iPad/iPhone Analytics is on in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share an anonymised crash report with the developer; TestFlight testers always share them. It shows where the code stopped, the device model and the system version. It holds nothing your child did or said and nothing that identifies you. We use it only to fix bugs.

Children

The app is made for young children, so it is designed to collect no personal information from them at all. With nothing collected, no parental-consent process is needed under children’s privacy laws (such as Thailand’s PDPA, the US COPPA and the GDPR). Purchases, settings and every link out of the app are behind the grown-ups’ question.

If you email us

We receive your address and what you write, use it only to reply and fix what you report, keep it only as long as needed (no more than 24 months), never use it for marketing and never pass it on. Our mailbox runs on Apple iCloud Mail.

Your rights

Rights of access, correction and deletion apply to correspondence you send us; app data you delete yourself by deleting the app. You may complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (pdpc.or.th) or your own authority at any time.
